A centre providing education and support for women and their families.

At Birth Central my team and I believe that pregnancy and birth is a magical life changing experience and our aim is to demystify it for parents through childbirth and early parenting education and doula support. We are a training facility for Doulas and Childbirth Educators and have a network of experienced Educators, Doulas and Practitioners working along side us.

We provide up to date information in a relaxed and caring environment through a variety of groups, classes and sessions. We want to share our experience with you so that you can be better equipped to make informed decisions that are right for you and your family.

At Birth Central we take a holistic approach to pregnancy and birth and believe, that if you have a better understanding of ‘what’s normal’ and ‘what to expect’ you can enjoy a positive birth experience and transition into parenthood.

My personal passion for pregnancy and childbirth came with the birth of my son, Harrison, born in a pool, at home in 1995. And my daughter Ruby, also born at home, just a short 16 months later. Both of my children keep me inspired to continue on this incredible journey with the men, women and children I am so privileged to work with.
